This request to speak is applicable only to the 9 a.m. county commission meetings held on the first & third Tuesdays of the month.

**This form is not applicable to the Planning & Zoning Commission meetings held at 2 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. Those wishing to address the P&Z Commission must sign up to speak immediately prior to the associated meeting in person.

Requests to speak at a 9 a.m. county commission meeting must be received by county administration by 5 p.m. at least seven days prior to the next commission meeting, which is the Tuesday of the week before the associated meeting.

In addition to the form below, requests to address the county commission during the 9 a.m. meeting are accepted in person & via mail or email at: Marion County Administration, 601 SE 25th Ave., Ocala, FL 34471, 352-438-2300, & AdministrativeServices@MarionFL.org.

Through this process, the citizens will be listed on the agenda under “General Public Items” & will be allotted five minutes to speak during the 9 a.m. county commission meeting.

Those who do not submit a request in accordance with the above guidelines are still welcome to sign up to speak during the 9 a.m. county commission meeting on the day of the meeting and will be allotted two minutes.
